+ activism.
This is the first Girls Who Code outreach program with Uber Technologies for under-served teenage girls in Homan Square, North Lawndale.
Students were paired with volunteer mentors from Uber to build projects that addressed social issues of their choice. Each session culminated with a visit to Uber’s downtown office for presentations and awards.
